About Blake Smith
Hello! My name is Blake Smith.
I’m 34 years old, I have a degree in Marketing from the Iowa Wesleyan University (where I was also a member of the Men’s basketball team) and I am a digital marketing lifer since I built my first website in 2007.
Since 2012 I’ve been working in marketing at some capacity at some awesome companies. It didn’t take long for me to gravitate towards SEO.
This site was created back in 2015 to test some of my SEO hypotheses.
Over the years, it has evolved into a place for me to share my thoughts. Due to the number of people contacting me about SEO consulting, it eventually evolved into a channel for people to enquire about my SEO services.

- I currently work as a Marketing Manager at Australian SaaS company ClockOn
- I have previously worked at GoDaddy, Netregistry, E-Web Marketing leading digital marketing campaigns.
- I’m a T-shaped marketer with skills across the gammet of digital disciplines, but SEO is my passion
- Outside of “work” I’m interested in human movement, functional training, and basketball (go 76ers)
